Music Shop is the direct-sales store at music.bassvault.net, where artists sell digital audio releases to listeners. This section adds to the rest of these Terms for anything sold through it.
A seller may publish only material they have the authority to sell. By publishing a release, the seller grants BassVault the operational rights it needs to host the audio, generate and stream previews, list and market the release to buyers, deliver purchased files, and enforce these Terms and its policies against that release.
A purchase is a personal, non-transferable digital license to listen to and keep a copy of that release. It is not a transfer of copyright, of the master recording, or of any ownership interest in the work. The seller keeps the copyright; the buyer keeps a licensed copy.
Checkout and seller payouts run through Stripe. Buyers pay on Stripe Checkout; sellers are onboarded to Stripe Connect and receive the sale directly. BassVault does not hold a buyer's card details and does not custody a seller's sale proceeds between the sale and the payout.
BassVault may take a release down — removing it from the store and stopping new purchases — for policy violations, legal demands, fraud, or rights complaints, including a copyright notice. A takedown is not a refund of that release's earlier sales, and buyers who already purchased keep their existing license unless it is separately refunded.
Refunds are handled where BassVault or applicable law permits or requires them. A refund is not a deletion. When a Music Shop purchase is refunded, the entitlement for that order is recorded as revoked, the download authorization for its files refuses it from then on, and the order and entitlement records are kept as transaction and audit history rather than erased.
