These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of BassVault.com and related services, including profiles, messaging, comments, embedded media sharing, creator features, and digital goods (collectively, the “Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility

4. Community Rules and Acceptable Use
Prohibited Content

Platform Abuse

Additional Platform Rules
- No username squatting
- No fake artist impersonation
- Verified artist accounts may require vetting
- Repetitive self-promotion spam may be removed
5. User Content
“User Content” includes profile content, comments, messages, photos, and materials users submit.
- You retain ownership of content you create.

By posting User Content, you grant BassVault a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and use content solely to operate and improve the Service.
6. Embedded Music and Third-Party Media
BassVault Does Not Host User Music or Videos
- BassVault does not store or host user-uploaded music or video files.

Users may share or embed content from third-party platforms such as YouTube, SoundCloud, Beatport, and similar services.

Users are responsible for ensuring embedded content complies with rights and source platform rules.
- Unauthorized or infringing embedded content may be removed.
Repeat Infringer Policy
- BassVault may apply a three-strike policy for repeated copyright infringement.
- Repeat infringers may be suspended or permanently banned.
7. Messaging and User Interactions
- Users are responsible for their interactions.
- Direct messages may be temporarily stored and processed to operate the Service.

BassVault does not guarantee permanent retention, availability, or recovery of messages.
- We may moderate or remove communications violating these Terms.
8. Third-Party Services

Use of embedded or linked third-party services may be governed by their own terms.
- BassVault is not responsible for third-party content or services.
9. Paid Digital Goods (Profile Skins)
BassVault may offer paid digital goods such as profile skins. Virtual goods are licensed, not sold. They:
- Are non-transferable
- Have no cash value
- May be modified or discontinued
Payments
Payments may be processed via PayPal, credit card processors, or other payment partners.
Refund Policy
Digital purchases are final except for fraudulent or unauthorized charges, or where required by law.
10. Intellectual Property
Except for User Content, the Service and all platform materials belong to BassVault or its licensors.
11. Moderation and Appeals
BassVault may take actions including:
- Content removal
- Feature restrictions
- Temporary suspension
- Permanent bans
Appeals
Users may appeal certain moderation or takedown decisions through a designated appeals process. Appeal submission does not guarantee reversal.
12. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES. We do not guarantee:
- Continuous availability
- Error-free operation
- Complete security
- Accuracy of user content
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BASS VAULT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT PAID IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS OR $100.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify BassVault from claims arising from your content, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of law or these Terms.
15. Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Michigan law.
Venue
Disputes shall be brought in Michigan courts unless subject to arbitration.
Binding Arbitration
Except where prohibited by law, disputes may be resolved by binding individual arbitration.
Class Action Waiver
You agree disputes will be brought only individually and not in class or representative actions.
16. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service means acceptance of revised Terms.
